Utah mom with MS now home after promising stem cell treatment in Mexico

Samantha Gramse, 31, is battling Multiple Sclerosis. She was diagnosed at the age of 21. Over the years, the disease has progressed significantly, and now Gramse is bound to a wheelchair.

She decided to fight with everything she has and made the trip to Puebla, Mexico to receive a Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation. Gramse called the treatment her last resort.

Doctor in the United States denied performing the transplant on her because they said her M.S. was too far progressed. Gramse took her chances and traveled to Clinica Ruiz in Puebla, the only hospital in the world willing to perform the procedure.
