Thursday is National Pickle Day, and if you want a fun way to taste a tangy pickle, why not try it fried.
Fried pickles are a dish all too familiar in the south — a dish that is pretty standard across the board, pickles that are battered and fried and typically served with some sort of sauce.Some debate does exist though, on which fried pickles are best — pickle chips or pickle spears.
Whichever way you like yours and whether you are getting them on the side of a burger, barbecue, chicken sandwich or seafood, its a fun break from your traditional french fry.
