She’s arguably the top runner in Utah returning in 2019. And Martin no doubt was the most consistent top performer of last year, winning six races in Utah, including the Region 10 Championships and a Utah Class 4A state championship record for 3-miles, going 17:15.00.
Martin went on to finish 34th at Foot Locker Nationals in her first appearance at the national meet. Martin also logged wins at the UHSTCA Pre-Foot Locker Invitational and the BYU Autumn Classic. Her calculated speed ratings were almost always above bar, with a high of 147 and two efforts at 142.
